3S-Smart Software Solutions GmbH
Founded in 1994 by Dieter Hess and Manfred Werner, 3S-Smart Software Solutions is one of the leading software manufacturers in the European automation industry. The company’s main focus is the development and distribution of CoDeSys (short for Controller Development System) the well-known IEC 61131-3 programming system for controller applications and CoDeSys SP the platform independent controller system.
Meanwhile, the specialists from 3S have developed a complete automation suite around their core products. They now also offer integrated product extensions for motion control or visualisation.
The 3S clients can be found in virtually every area of automation, i.e. from industrial controller manufacturers to users and system integrators. All of them are members of the CoDeSys Usergroup and benefit from the regular meetings 3S holds in which significant product innovations are presented and discussed.
