Real Time Automation, Inc.
Real Time Automation, Inc. began by focusing on RS232/RS422/RS485 serial communications and is now heavily involved in CAN, DeviceNet, EtherNet, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, ModbusTCP, and SDS. We build PCB boards, OEM products, board-level industrial I/O systems and offer an assortment of off the shelf network gateways and enablers. Established in 1989, RTA, Inc. exists to provide innovative solutions to our customers, by utilizing both custom and off the shelf networking solutions. RTA, Inc. is composed of three business segments: connectivity products, engineered systems, and our OEM divison.
RTA, Inc. is currently has two locations, our original office at 2825 N. Mayfair Rd. Wauwatosa, WI 53222 and our new location in the historic research part building at 10437 Innovation Drive Ste. 323 Wauwatosa, WI 53226.

Connectivity Products
Our connectivity product line includes some of the first products ever created by RTA, Inc. as well as newer more innovative systems. These products link serial devices to Programmable Controllers, Sensor Bus Systems (DeviceNet, SDS and Profibus) and Ethernet. RTA, Inc. provides connectivity for many types of diverse industrial systems including drive systems, weigh scales, automatic identification systems, barcode readers, drive controls, conveyors and energy management systems.
Engineered Systems
Our Engineered Systems business designs highly tailored industrial communications and control products. These systems include custom embedded controllers, special purpose I/O and specialized communications interfaces.
